Unit Head - Project Management Office - Global Compliance APPLY ON WEBSITE

JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for managing all Compliance-related technology initiatives by close coordination with stakeholders including IT and Compliance Department Heads ensuring that Projects are implemented as per approved timelines so that Global Compliance can derive optimal benefit through timely adoption of technology.
Description
Project Management
  • Implement a structured Project Management program with Global Compliance for all technology initiatives
  • Work with stakeholders including Department Heads and IT in order to meet timelines and achieve delivery
  • Be an active member of relevant Project Steering Committees
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress, escalating bottlenecks on a timely manner
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and cost
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
MIS & Reporting
  • Provide structures and timely updates to Department Head for further reporting to Senior Management
  • Strong follow-up with actions owners for the timely completion of relevant deliverables
Staff Training & Development
  • Ensure that staff are provided adequate trainings to conduct their Project Management activities
  • Identify training opportunities for staff
  • Stay informed of industry (training) best practices, constantly evolving internal processes to stay ‘best in class’
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
People Management
  • Coach and motivate junior staff in order to help evolve CPD&C and Global Compliance to even stronger levels of efficiency and prowess in the years to come.
